Eco Friendly Garden Tour!
Tour Marin’s Eco-Friendly Gardens
Join this self-guided tour on Saturday, May 9th that will feature a host of eco-friendly practices that include:
• native and drought tolerant plantings
• an organic vineyard and garden
• rainwater catchment facilities
• “smart” irrigation controllers
• a creekbank stabilization project
• edible terrains
• permeable surfaces
• rain gardens
• pollinator gardens
• native no mow sod
• and much more.
At each location, a landscape professional or homeowner will be available to discuss the eco-friendly methods used.

Registration includes a “Garden Guide” with a description of gardens, locations and driving instructions. An overall map will also be provided. Most locations are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – though a few are open from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. to provide an opportunity to see even more!
A “Post Tour Event” from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – included in the ticket price – offers a native plant and seed sale, shopping boutique, dessert café and a series of free Eco Seminars*. Details included in the Garden Guide.
